If your hosting plan includes email, cPanel may let you create mailboxes for your domain. Availability, storage quotas, and spam controls depend on your provider and plan.

Create the address

  1. Sign in to cPanel and open Email Accounts.
  2. Choose Create, select the domain, and enter the mailbox name.
  3. Set a strong, unique password or use the provider’s secure password generator.
  4. Choose a storage quota that fits your plan and click Create.

Configure your mail app

In Email Accounts, choose Connect Devices or the equivalent setup option to find the provider’s recommended incoming and outgoing server names, ports, and encryption settings. Use the secure settings shown by your host; do not guess server names based on your website’s address.

Test the mailbox

Sign in to webmail or configure a mail app, send a message to an external address you control, and reply. Check spam and junk folders if the message does not appear. Do not use an unencrypted connection when your provider supplies TLS settings.

If mail fails, note the exact error and whether sending, receiving, or both are affected. Contact your host for the correct mail server configuration. Never share the mailbox password in a support ticket.
